Yesterday out of the blue my 2013 xc60 wouldn't start. I had started it twice that morning already with no issue. It took several times. At one point it said "Immobilizer. Try Again." It finally started. Later that evening it started up just fine again, multiple times. This morning it started fine multiple times.

After some research I found this post (and several others) and think maybe it could be a corroded starter wire. My husband and I attempted to look at it last night, but we couldn't locate the starter. Can anyone tell me where the starter is located on the 2013 XC60? Or have a similar problem solution.

 

On the 6cyl engine the starter is found on the bottom of the engine. Take the belly pan off and it's visible.
