we just got a Volvo S80 2011 love it but is the fuse box for the lighter in center console on the driver side under the hood for fuses i don't have none in the glove compartment or in trunk for fuses thanks for the help in advance

 

Details on fuse locations are in the Owners Manual (can be viewed online as a PDF)
Check fuse 22 under the glove box in the "A" (left side) fuse panel.

 

im from Shelby just west of Charlotte. Picked up a 2004 C70. Was riding a Honda Goldwing, trying out the convertible lifestyle.

I am in Raleigh, also any tips on selling? I am trying to sell my 1996 850 GLT Wagon and I am having some trouble :/

 

If the car isn't spotless, clean it inside and out.

If you have service records, have them at the ready and advertise the fact that you have them!

Do the same tests against your car that a knowledgeable person might do.

is you heater core leaking? Look for coolant in the foot well

Are there any codes stored? If so address them if at all possible or price accordingly

Does a glove inflate when you take the oil fill cap off and put the glove on it? If so, time for some PCV work or another price adjustment.

Any fluids dripping? Find em and fix em. Any deferred repairs will drive down the asking price for a hard core buyer or make that starving college student run for the hills.

What about posting the car on this forums for sale pages with pics as well?

Currently rebuilding a 1980 850 sedan with 81k miles on it. But it has been sitting for year.

 

In Charlotte - I'm trying to find a used/salvage passenger mirror for my 2016 XC70 with NO LUCK. Anybody have a recommendation on where I may be able to find one?

 

Try using car-part.com - its a recycle yard search engine. Plan B would be to use a Volvo friendly used parts like Erie VoVo and Voluparts.

Then there's always eBay.

What may help is to start with a Volvo dealer web store (I like Tasca Parts but there's more) to find the Volvo factory part number, then use that in your searches.
