Default Radiator Issues

I have an '01 Volvo V70 2.4t and have a strange issue that I would love to pick someones brain for a possible solution. I have called the dealership service department in Phoenix but as usual I have found a dealership to be completely useless and with the ever present answer of "Buy Volvo parts for 10X as much" Also, I know how to use Google and nothing is coming up as I actually know the problem just not the solution yet. I had to pout a new radiator in my Volvo. Upon receiving the radiator I discovered that the NORMAL one for my make/model/year was NOT the same as the one in it. So I called back the business and we discussed it and they have ran into this before for this make of Volvo. What they're saying is that some of these V70' were made at the end of the production year and different radiators were put into them (I have had this type of issue happen with old Mustangs before) So instead of the normal 2001 Volvo V70 2.4t radiator I needed the one for 99-06 Volvo S80 01-09 S60 01-07 V70 03-07 XC70.
So I order that one and sure enough it is exactly the same as the one I just pulled out with larger side brackets that bolt in from underneath. I get it installed hook everything up but quickly discover the oil line connectors on the new radiator are probably a mm, if that, larger than the oil line connectors coming from the car. Their connectors won't fit mine, and when I take the old ones off, the quick connect clips don't click into the new connectors. I am wondering if there is a connector I can get, or new clips for the lines that will fit or what I can do? Everyone I talk to just doesn't understand at all and can offer no help. Thanks in advance!
