"R" Brakes on a 2.5t awd
Has anyone tried this, I was talking to the parts manager at my local volvo dealer and he said that it would cost me about 1800 to do but i have to chage a few things, like the front shocks, the spindle and the rotors aswell. Does anyone know what i need to do here, has anyone done this conversion before?

You will have to run 17" rims or bigger to run those calipers.

Yes he also mentioned that, i have the Thor 17" rims that i use in the summer i think i might use those for winter and get a set of 18" Peg rims, The parts manager said i can get the set of 4 for like $1300. with rubber like $1800. He also mentioned that i shouldn't use aftermarket rims because they have been getting quite a few complaints about vibrations, aparently the center holes on aftermarket rims are often too large for the volvo hubs and the rims don't sit perfectly centered on the hub, has anyone experienced this problem.

Try to piece together a Porsche big brake kit for the S60 might be about the same price without replacing all he struts and everything else.
For the rims usually you can get the hubcentric ring to take up hte free space and make it fit tight. |

I'd rather go with the Volvo parts, to keep everything the same plus i dont plan to boost power to a very high level.

The Porsche kit is very nice and I know that Volvo guys use them with great results.
