Default Odd Tire Wear

I have just noticed while out in the driveway with my son that my 1999 v70 has a very odd tire wear issue. Currently I have identical tires all the way around, all new when installed and all at the same time. The drivers side front tire has unusual wear, The treading is basically bald on the outside of the tire (side facing the road) it goes roughly 2 inches back on the tire. The rest of the tires (including the rest of the tire with the odd wear) still appear to have about 75% of their treading left on them.

I have noticed lately a slight "shake" at highway speeds, roughly at 70 or so,gets proggressivly worse as the speed nears 80MPH.

Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe a bad camber adjustment....or a bad toe-in . If it were a toe-in you'd pull to the right though so I'd lean toward a camber issue. Either way, sounds like you need an alignment.

Agreed, it sounds like the camber is off. I think if it was the toe also, you would notice feathering on the tread. Assuming no suspnsion parts are bad, and alignment would fix it in either case.

Its always toe, be it in or out, my sunfire has about 1.75 degrees of camber, and 0 toe. I've never had a problem with uneven wear. If the toe is too out of whack camber will only aggravate the problem.

I have this exact same problem. Tire wear on the outer side of the tires(front). It also pulls to the right when accelerating fast. What am I looking at? Price to fix?
