Default #16 fuse blowing 93' 240 wagon

#16 fuse blowing as soon as I turn parking lights on. Disconnected right rear tail lamp and right front removed bulb, checked wiring for shift indicator (looks good). Where do I go from here? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

if it was fuse 15, I'd suggest looking at the wiring in the right rear tailgate hinge as thats where the power to the license plate lights goes, which are on fuse 15

lets see.. fuse 16 also has some of the dashboard lights on it, so the short could be somewhere there.

the wires to the right rear of a wagon go along the drivers side door sill to the back left corner then up and over the tailgate and down the right side. anywhere along teh way there could be a short. has anyone added any accessories to this car? maybe they ran a screw through the wiring.
