1984 244DL

I am new to the Volvo Arena but am interested in some info on the above vehicle. I may buy one at auction tomorrow and would like to know the engine specs for a 1984 244DL with the 2.3 and it is American Specs. Could anyone let me know this info or point me in the right direction. It is the 4 speed manual model if that matters and I would like to know the HP and Tourque of the engine and maybe if there are known things I should look out for. Thanks in advance.
