1986 240 DL Wagon heads
#3
The I4, the heads had a jb weld blob smeared just after the last exhaust manifold line. Surprisingly, before I scraped the blod off, it ran strong on the fwy, hitting 80mph easy. Started right up and the suspension very nice. All though when idle the whole engine rocked left/right pretty bad like bad motor mounts or something

Heads
I hear a lot about the bolts...as for the gasket I will put in a new one, they are pretty cheap. The coolant is already drained because my cyl heads have a giant hole on the exhaust manifold side. It all spilled out when I scraped the jb weld crap off of it thinking it was a melted sticker...

Today's surgery will be a laborious work of rejuvenation. I shall start by examining bolt sizes and various vital connections. A delicate task of removing and remembering how to reconnect.
AAAAhhh dam!!! An amature, ****-eyed doc with an alcohol level of 10.0 will be performing the operation..."Oh yeah?, well......I'll have you know that this ****-eyed sight is a highly calibrated, fine tuned piece of equipment known as................................................ ..............................."ah,,,what the heck...I see two of everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! new cyl heads
Hello people!!! haw ya doin?
I have changed the cyl heads...it was a grueling procedure. I replaced the heads using an earlier model...1985 2.3L
Everything matches but now it won't start...well, I got it from the junk yard...maybe the heads are bad? The donor 240 had been in an accident and that is why I believe it was there.
Timing is done
I forgot to mark the corresponding plug wire to plug so I need help putting back the spark plug wires in order...
It cranks over but nothing...
CHECK OUT THE PICKS OF THE NEW HEAD...

beer cans?
Hey bubba
No, not under water, the owner lived by the sea shore. He probably never washed the car thus helping to wash off the salty mist or fog that every morning moves its way inland. Beer cans? I can see the melting of the aluminum part...just cut the ends, unroll the can and use it as a sheet of metal right? YET ANOTHER WONDERFUL USE OF BEER CANS...AA meetings? BAAAAhhhh...
thanks
