Gave my daughter the 240 sedan (automatic) and I am thinking about buying a 1989 740 wagon (5 speed). Being a Volvo I know I'm in good shape, are there any particulars I should know about maintenance on a 740 5 speed.

The usual, minus worrying about the wiring, A/T flushes, etc. But you got a clutch, slave, donut-make sure it's got life left or it's a few hundred...
