Hey Guys,

I have a short somewhere that's frying a wire under my dash, I cannot figure out where it is going to or from, attached is a picture of a 20 wire connector behind the brake pedal. It is the light brown wire, or #6 on the connection. The wire joins a larger bundle and goes into the dash near the steering column. Any help would be appreciated, if you know where the wire goes or have a wiring diagram that could show me it would be great. I couldn't find any diagrams that helped with a google search.

according to the grenbook, that connector is 24 pin? (assuming I'm looking at the same connector), and pin 6 is white and goes to the license plate light.

to verify we're looking at the right connector, other pins are shown as follows...

1 - fuel level sensor (grey)
2 - direction indicator left (blue-green)
3 - direction indicator right (blue)
4 - rear fog light left (violet)
5 - rear window wash (blue-red)
6 - license plate light (white)
7 - (not listed)
8 - reverse/backup lights (black)
9 - radio dimmer (blue-white)
10 - parking lights right (brown-white)
11 - courtesy light (black)(blue-black)
