240 Front Rear Bushings not interchangeable?
hi,
didn't get my other question answered yet (240 tie rod torque spec.) but had another question i couldn't find an answer to.
i noticed some sellers and manufacturers list the rear control arm bushing as specific (left or right) and others list them the same. the bentley service manual says they are not interchangeable. i have two bushings of apparently the same side and was going to install them on both sides, was wondering if anyone knew of the difference between the bushings if any? and what sort of consequences would happen if they were mixed up?
thx all

If you're speaking of the large bushings that mount on the rear of the trailing arm? They are the same from side to side.
37 ft.lbs-52 ft.lbs is the torque range on the tie rods...obviously not a critical measurement...just tighten the heck out of it.
