hi, im a pre-college student and i had a 1980 volvo 244 dl. it was hunter green and ran like a champ. however the temp gague was off so i couldn't tell when it got too hot so i blew the head. so now i need to sell it and get a little bit of money to buy a new car to go back and forth to school, work, and around. so if you are interested just message me, or email me. im not asking alot for it. but everything else is great on it.

 

Hi. I'd recommend you list this in the classifieds on turbobricks.com Guys are always looking for project cars. Be sure to post pictures and a price. Don't expect to get too much; w/o a temp gauge there is no way of knowing how hot the motor got. The head might be shot, but you may have scored the cylinder walls as well, meaning the motor is toast...

I have a 1978 244 that has been smacked by a hit and run but the motor-tranny has less than 100,000 miles and runs great. I want to find a car with a blown power train and do an engine swap.
