what year 740? they used several different styles of headlights for different years, and you need a fair bit of stuff to change styles.

I believe 740 front ends came in at least 3 different versions in the USA. up to 1989, 1990 was a one year only, and 1991-92 were the same as a base model 940. each of these series has different fenders, turn signals, hoods, grill, and headlight surround trim. you pretty much have to change everything back to and including the headlight adjustment frame. further, if its the early US quad headlights you want, I'm pretty sure you'll need to rewire your harness as the high beam and main/dipped beam use separate connectors. the main beam actually has high and low filaments, while the high beam is high only, so all 4 run in high beam, while only the mainbeam lower filament runs in low mode.

world market cars further distinguish between LHD and RHD, US cars are all LHD. LHD headlights in a RHD country would blind oncoming drivers (as would RHD headlights in a LHD country).
