88 240 misfire/hesitation under acceleration
Question for the troubleshooting experts:
My 1988 wagon(5 speed manual) has developed a miss/hesitation when I'm accelerating, particularly in first and second gear. It seems to be getting worse as time goes by(it started about two weeks ago).
I did clean the throttle body about a month ago, as well as a tune up(plugs, cap, rotor). I did replace both fuel pumps a couple years ago, along with the strainer/filter. i'm hoping the pre-pump hasn't failed already.
Any help is appreciated.

well, its not like he gave us much to go on.
hmm, 88 240, thats got the chrysler ignition system on the right fender behind the headlight... if the vacuum line to the ignition control unit is leaky or loose, that can mess with the spark timing, which could cause power loss as you apply throttle.
is the problem worse when the gas tank is closer to empty, and less to none when the tank is full? that points to the in-tank pump.
