Default 91 240 tail lights

I have a 89 240 s/w. it has 4 lights in the rear on each side, one above other. Bottom is running/brake light, above that is turn signal, above that is white lens back up light. What is the top light? I can't get it to work no matter what I try.

Thanks
dave

You're telling me my car has NO front fog lights but it has REAR fog lights??? Do they drive backwards in Sweden? Sorry, I find that really funny.

Thanks for the info.

dave

Edit: Oh, wait, I gotcha. There are 2 pair of amber lights up front, also. One pair is the front fog light. All the bulbs up front are burned out and turning on the fog light switch didn't turn on anything until I changed one of the fog light bulbs in the rear.

again, thanks for the info, mystery solved.

Well, in Europe, they have a problem with FOG. Real fog lights really help reduce the chances of getting REAR ENDED. So, when you have the need, here in the Great US, use your rear fog lights if you get in foggy or snowy conditions.

BTW, Rear fog lights are standard but not front fogs. Also, most rear fog lights are only on 1 side of the car, the other is a blank so don't go trying to get both sides to work, you may have a long day.
