'91 740 back seats fold down?
 

Hey all. So I've been trying to get my back seats to go down so I can feed a door, yes a bedroom door, through my trunk to the back seats so I can transport it. I read some things about the 700 series cars having the bottom of the seat fold up and then the back can fold down? I get the bottom up no problem but I can't seem to find a way for the back to fold down or even come out at all. Does anyone have any information for me? It's a '91 740 by the way. Thanks all!

the wagon seats fold, I don't think the sedan ones do. I have only ever had 740, 940, 960 wagons, and a S90 sedan. And a 240 sedan, which definitely doesn't fold but has a 'ski tunnel'.

My 740 back seats did NOT fold down in the sedan I had.

I think they will never fold down, I too have the "ski tunnel". Also good for rocket launchers I read on another site. Welp.

On that note, I've been having some power steering issues lately. Come to find out the belt was loose, went to tighten it and snapped the tensioner bolt as I went to loosen that bolt. Now to find a new one of those and it should be all set for the winter I hope! Praying nothing else comes along haha.
