89 240 DL wagon- how do I tell if I've got Nivomat rear suspension? Looking for some shocks. Thanks! Dave

 

Nivomat shocks would have some sort of lines coming out of the rear shocks, while regular shocks would be just like, well, regular shocks. You canfind out by looking at the shocks with the car jacked up. An '89DL would probably not have a Nivomat suspension, 99% certain of that...

 

TedV-Thanks for the input. Maybe the Nivomat are air adjusted shocks- hence the extra line? Dave
