You don't need a book on this one. Your local auto parts store will have prices comparable to mail order stores.
You will need a small floor jack to lift the engine sufficiently. Some ramps wouldn't hurt either.
You may want to hit the local car wash to power off the crud so you can see what you're doing.
That's a DIY car wash.
May as well get a trans mount too. Only the minimum of tools are involved.
The latest Haynes covers through 1988 and still works for your car except for the ignition system.
