Braking noise from rear.
Hello fellow Volvo drivers,
When braking I am starting to get this deep chatter/vibration from the rear-end when braking. not loud, but noticable by me in cabin...loud enough. funny thing is that i do not hear the chatter/vibration when driving around town, or low speed cruising. I have observed that the vibration occurs when braking after a highway cruise, usually the last leg of the off ramp...stopping at the light or something, usually 50-0mph: that kind of thing. What do you guys think? I'm thinking worn rear-end bushings. |

remove rear tires, look at your brakes.

I'll check them out, thanks.

warped rear rotors would be my guess

RE: Braking noise from rear.
warped rotors? i'll check that out too.
also, i noticed that my trailing arm bushings are worn, i'll replace those first and move on to the rotors and/or shock absorber bushings. thanks guys. |
