Have an 89, 240 auto.with 135,000km.A couple of codes have come up.
1. 1-1-3, fault ininjectors. I bought a tankful of expensive gas that claims to have injector cleaner in it. Will it do the job? Are there filters elsewhere in the system?
2. code 2-3-1, fuel system compensating for rich/lean mixture at cruise. I changed the fuel filter. I havedone 100km with the changes and gas.No change yet.
Gas mileage seems fine, everything seems fine.Just that check engine light stays on.
Any suggestions much appreciated.

 

Did you clear the codes?

 

Rekkab- I had both of those codes plus one additional, I changed the Oxygen sensor and reset the codes, light hasnt been on for about 2 months. Bet it will come on now... Dave
