erratic speedometer
 

Today is the first time this has happened to my '86 240. Coming to a stop around 2-3 mph the speedo needle jumped up to around 20 and back down. Happened a couple times today. The rear end hasn't been touched. The instrument cluster was removed a couple years ago to fix the odo gear. Any ideas?
