See what they say. That was the cheapest place I could find a set of rims for the wifes car.
They were 15's and $315.00 for the set of 4 with NO tires.
These are them.

Is this the car with all the little problems? Maybe a good idea would be to find out how much money you'd have to spend to fix all the little stuff...putting a number to that may help you decide wether or not you want to spend more money on it.

Regarding rims....try to buy a universal bolt patern. The ones i just got for my Cavalier also work for my 240 (wow....wouldn't THAT look hot! lmao)....so, if and when i sell the cavalier, i can just put the factory wheel back on and throw the rims or my new car (undetermined at this time)

Nope....i put them up next to the 240 and i must admit they aren't the right style for a wagon....not without a V8 anyway (someday maybe)...pluss i don't have the right hub rings.

Hello again, Not to sound too enthusiastically on this one (actually I do) but don't put eBay out of the way just yet! Yeah, it is true it took me some time to find unique rims for the Volvo there at a good price, butin January I found some great TSW 17 x7 rims on ebay, hardly used and only $650 for the 4 of them, including the shipping and handling to Puerto Rico! Not the ones I rave, cuase I like deep dish, but for 650 and 17in... I love them!!

By the way they are the ones in the photo!

So, don't give up eBay... it could one day be your best friend!

I must give props to e-bay as well.....i waited for 2 years before the right set came along. It was worth the wait though. All said and done the rims, hub rings, closed tuner lugs, tires, and valve stems cost me $659.98! For 18" at that!

here's a link if you're interested.

I will keep searching.
As for now I had to buy some tires due to the Kids being in the Car everyday.
Got them off e-bay $150.00 for 5 tires brand new.

That's it! I'm buying stock in e-bay!

LOL Lucky_Avalon...I got this e-mail this morning that i had a new mesage in my cardomain box. The minute i clicked on your ID i knew who it was!

I guess i just decided one day that i was tired of seeing my speakers wired up on the dash....so, i started cutting lol. I looked at a whole bunch of technical diagrams and construction docs. before i actually cut anything. Unfourtunatly I cannot do something like this on the 240....there's a hell of a lot more stuff behind the dash than in an American car. oh-well

What kind of rims are you looking for anyway Tech? I'll keep an eye out...ebay emails me listings for rims sometimes.
