Fogged up windows

Hi. New to the forums. I have a 240 wagon.

Whenever it rains (and it does that quite frequently here in Seattle), all of the windows will fog up very fast, greatly hindering my ability to drive safely in the rain. I'll mess with the AC and the heater and I'll roll down the windows and usually after a few minutes of playing around I can fix the fogginess. But I was wondering if anyone knows a sure-fire way to make the windows de-fog fast?

Thanks.

Clean them.

make sure "recirculate" is turned off.

Make sure your core matrix isn't leaking also.

Yes, Johnny M. was serious!

The fog is water vapor condensing on dust and other particles on the inside of your windows. If your windows are clean, they're much less likely to fog up.

Ever watch hockey players in the NHL with their clear plastic visors on their helmets? They are constantly cleaning them; why? to keep them from fogging up!

Beyond that, make sure your AC is working (if applicable) as it is engaged during the defrost cycle. Also, are you losing coolant? If so, your heater core could be leaking, adding moisture to the inside of you car.
