IPD has these on sale. I know that they are expensive, ~$50 per light (need four).

Plus, one should connect the outer hi/lo H4's through relays and one *must* connect the inner hi-beam H1's through relays.
I'm not daunted by this task since I can whip up a wiring harness pretty quickly.

I am about to go on a x-country trip and new lights would be good. I have some questions.

1. Are these a good price? I notice that one can get Cibie conversions for about $75 a light, so that's a bunch more than these Hellas.

2. Does anybody know of a better deal?

3. Where does one get the relays? And which relay does one buy? I'll need four so that my bulb out mechanism still works. I'm not worried about the additional complexity unless the relays are expensive.

4. Are there any other suggestions from anybody who's done this?

Damn! I wish the 740 had the old 7" headlights. I'd see if I could snag a pair of Cibie Z-Beams like I had on my old 242. Great lights!!!
