mcc in a 93 940 turbo
 

I'm trying to remove the MCC from my 93 940. I have the plastic facia off and all the screws removed but there are two metal tabs bottom left and bottom right that screws go through. These tabs are blocking removal of the unit.
theyre way to thick to bend out of the way. Can anyone tell me what i need to do to get the old mcc out and the new one in??

You can bend the tabs out of the way, or you can dismantle the whole radio surround thing and remove the box. I have done both...

Thanks for the reply. how were you able to bend the tabs out. Theyre made of some heavy duty steel. Can you give me the details of how to remove the mcc via taking the radio out? Thanks again
