Hi! I usually hang out in the S70 and 850 forums, helping folks with technical questions there. Well, yesterday, I just bought a 1990 Volvo 740 GLE 16- valve in need of mechanical help for $250... so, I'll be hanging out in here now, as well. I'd been wanting a wagon for a while for hauling stuff around in, and when I saw this car, I had to buy it. The engine runs well, but there's a host of things that need attention. I'm a mechanic who specializes in European cars, so I'll probably be adding to the folks who help answer questions. Anyhow, I'll post some pics of the 740 later.

 

oooh a 16valve. Stay on top of that motor or else one day when you least expect it you'll bend a valve. You should probably just swap in an 8v and give me the 16v the more i think about it. Gimme gimme.
