no dash lights =[

i just put a new pioneer radio into my 740 ti wagon, not knowing where the stock amp was, i searched and found this sight,

---> http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs...PDF/865001.pdf

radio all wired in works great, went to turn my lights on, all outside lights work, glove box light works under hood light works, tail lights, parking lights high beams, dome light, etc...

the lights on the dash aren't turning on as in speedometer rpm, turbo gauge, etc, i checked all the fuses, all are good, im just looking to see if the new radio installed has screwed up my dash lights, and if so, where can i look to fix them, thank god i have a gps so at night i can see how fast im going, any help would be great, thanks guys =]

I actually know whats wrong and was going to say, but if you're gonna be a douche forget it. Try something like google and search for your problem. Then after that read this

That is how this site works though.....It is a maintenance site.
Most people post a question every once in awhile, it will get a few views from people who might have the same problem, or just curious to see what they can experience once it happens to them, and hopefully are waiting to see if it gets answered....

Adub96 can help once he gets back on.....once he cools off :D

I'm cooled off. So, when you were hooking up your stereo were you searching around for which wires carried power and which ones didn't? Do your start up and warning lights come on? Check the power before and after your dimmer switch. You can use a spare brake light bulb if you don't have a multimeter.

In the end, I bet its the rheostat for your dimmer, they go bad occasionally, especially if you end up touching the power wire for the dimmer to something it shouldn't touch. Remember this car 17 years old. There are so many things in that car that are almost broken and are just waiting for a little push to get them over the edge.

lol its 20 years old, lol, and i found the problem a solid blue wire that wasnt grounded, i figured that i got them on by powering y not try grounding them,, andi did and yayyaya they work =] now the dimmer doesnt work bt idc, i have them on bright all the time neway. but neway i know how forums work, i am alos a member of turbobricks.com and swedespeed.com :D

but ill send that how not to be a douchebag thing to my old teacher :eek: cause he was a real douchbag =]
