Default Remove fuel pressure regulator?

I loosened the top nut fitting, took out the small 10mm bracket bolt and removed the phillips hose clamp.

The fuel pressure regulator is locked in by this 22mm nut right?

Cause I cant seem to get it to break free. Ive tried penetrant and cant get it free.

so you are trying to get the old regulator off the bracket to replace it? yes it looks like it is held on by the 22mm. can the entire assembly be removed from the engine? if so maybe put it in a vice and try to crack that nut with an open end wrench with a pipe over it for leverage. or re tighten the 10mm bolt and try the same thing on the car. the 22mm nut looks like it is good shape (maybe original?).

Why not just undo the hose clamp?
