Default 940 fails when get 4.000 rpm

The engine of my 940 turbo fails when I try to speed it fast, it get 4000 rpm and it seems to be that there is no fuel, I have changed the distribuitor and rotor, fuel filter, cheched the fuel pump presure, but still I have the problem, it tipically happens when you try to get speed when you get the highway.
I would appreciate any help on this matter

"Seems there is no fuel", but you have a high speed engine misfire under load which is caused by fuel or by ignition, spark. You have looked at all the fuel issues, now look at the spark: plugs, wires, etc. Wires may be the cause, especially in wet conditions, as well as the coil, as well as a cracked dist cap. Or the power stage amp... Sorry, it's a lot but it goes fast once you get into it.

Dirty injectors. Try to run some fuel system cleaner through, or just buy some new injectors. i have seen this occur far too many times.

Cool. Easy fix! I only know about this problem because a good friend of mine with a Volvo spent months chasing the same problem.

Regards, Andrew.
