reseting the comp will help?
Dear Friends, I have a 940 turbo wagon, 1,995. I did a major tune up on it and everything is fine, we even did a major intake system clean up, but its still making 15 mpg. I know this car should be doing 20-22 mpg so I wonder if reseting the computer will do any good? Someone mentioned here that this computer sometimes keeps sending a rich fuel even if I am not driving at high speed all the times.
Please help me find out if reseting it will help at all, and if this is the one I can do it from the modules on the engine compartment |
RE: reseting the comp will help?
Either pull the fuse for the Engine Managment system or disconnect the Battery for 15 minutes or so.

RE: reseting the comp will help?
I forget which one it is. It might be fuse #1 but not sure.
The fuse box is either under the Radio or in the side of the Dash. The panel tells you which fuse os for what. |
RE: reseting the comp will help?
Already played with the diagnosis unit and the only code was 2-2-3, idle valve signal. does that has anything to do with my high mpg? when I had the tune up made, they cleaned all that stuff completely, please HELP !!!!!!! I dont want to sell the car, but 15mpg is something I can not afford
