Spark plugs

What is the proper plug and gap for 1990 740 GL. B234f

Spark plugs (GL, Turbo GLE - 16 valve) Volvo P/N270.146-1
Spark plug gap 0.028-0.032" (0.7-0.8 mm)
Tightening torque 15-22 ft. lbs. (20-30 Nm)

I believe you can also use Bosch WR6DC or NGK BPR6E, gapped the same. but a box of 4 of the volvo plugs is only about $15-20 from the stealer.

Are the Volvos sensitive to resistor plugs like those referenced above? I know my Mercedes prefers the old school non resistor copper plugs because of the resistance in the wires themselves. Not easy to find regular old copper core plugs in this day and age..

Thanks . Gap was set on old plugs ,insta inst new distributor and rotor. Had trouble finding proper wire set .Coil wire was either too short, or not the correct size. I thought I had a Regina coil, but the end is male and about the size of the spark plug end. Put a new tip on old wire and it now starts. Old tip was cause of no spark issue. Still wants to stall. Seems to be hunting after it reaches normal temp, then stalls . unplugged MAF sensor and it kept running. Got two codes on port 2. 321, and 122.

a regina system has rex ignition, which has a coil that is a square thing that looks like a transformer.... bosch has a conventional cylindrical coil.

Thanks Pierce .it is square, told m it was Rex, and the coil wire was too short, and the end was too small. ( Not spark plug size). That's not the real issue . The one code directed me to the radio suppression relay .swapped it with fan relay, same problem. One had a cold solder joint i fixed. Could the MAF sensor be causing it to starve it for gas or air? Can it be cleaned? By the way, all I know I have learned is from this forum. Thanks. It is a great help and resource.

Regina cars don't have a MAF/AMM, instead they have a MAP which is a manifold air pressure sensor, and works totally differently. I know very little about Regina, never saw one here in California.

now, i've heard of the rare hybrid car that has Rex ignition with Bosch injection.
