Very Nice! Looks absolutely NEW..... Even the fluid blottles in the engine compartment are white! For the age of the car, they should be yellow. Nice mileage too? Was that an "old lady" car?

Is that a vacuum hose off on the throttle body?

Good eye, Tuck! (wonderpets reference) Yes, I have since cut off the split end and reattached, zip-tying it for good measure. This one definitely needs the classic stage 0 treatment - replace all vacuum lines, etc. We took the car into the shop today and dropped it off for the "used car inspection on steroids" to get a list of needs - then I'll prioritize them and decide which ones I can do myself.

Thanks. I have to confess though, it's more flawed then these pics reveal. The seat bottoms on the front have been re-done with vinyl. Makes them look pretty good. Rear seat is the original leather, not shredded but needs a lot of leather conditioning treatment, or eventual replacement. I suspect it might have been an old lady car, but not sure. Timing belt was replaced at 97k, but the sticker says that was in 2004! So it wasn't driven a whole lot.

That model was the 1st Volvo I ever owned. I had it until 2005, it had over 400k on it. Have fun.

Default some progress this weekend

Got a lot of parts in for the stage 0 on Thursday from eeuroparts.com and rockauto.com. Still waiting on a few more on backorder plus some stuff from IPD. This weekend all I did was replace the vacuum hoses and the low beam headlights, plus treat all the rusty screws I could find with rust converter.

After a bath:
