I'm looking for a set of front seat skins, TAN in color, will consider vinyl since it's a 245 (station wagon). Send pictures, close-ups to my address: ovlov200@gmail.com
Your help is highly appreciated!

hmmm, looks like IPD doesn't have their custom fit velour covers anymore... I put those on our 240 about 10 years ago and they are still holding up fine.

there's a bunch of online places that will MAKE custom-fit covers cut to fit your car out of a wide range of fabrics

the tan or taupe 'velquilt' stuff from seatcovers.net is pretty close to the factory cloth seats

i guess i got lucky and found two really good condition front tan vinyl passenger seats from the JY and just converted one of them to the drivers...
but i also had nice black vinyl passengers one i converted to drivers side and used that for a while.

for sure, the factory vinyl seats were really durable. all of our volvos have been leather. it wears out in 10-20 years.

if the foam is failing, the best thing is to repair it before covering, perhaps replace some of it, before putting the covers on. if its still intact, you can put the custom covers over the old upholstery, or you can remove it, your choice. ditto any broken springs or wires, repair them first, then cover.
