What I saw when changing a tire
My sister just bought a 1989 740 GL. the guy she purchased the car from told her she would definatly need new tires. Two days later she had a blow out. She was able to get the spare on with the help of a good samartian. I told her I would replace the tire for her, but what I discovered when I took the spare off was what looked like lug nuts between the tire and the brake rotor. Is this normal? can I remove them? Why are they there? They are just on the front.

RE: What I saw when changing a tire
There shouldn't be anything between the rim and the rotor.
