1997 960 thermostat housing cracked off.
Hey guys.
Anyone out there in Volvo land ever replace the thermostat housing that attaches to the block?
How much work is involved? I'd like to tackle this myself.
Thanks.

Well I got around to it.
Had to take off the power steering pump, alternator, water pump and the bracket that holds all three. Plus removed the airbox.
Just to reach one damn bolt at the bottom of the thermostat housing.
She runs again
