Battery drain

Battery went bad in 1990 760. bought a brand new one last night, this morning, stone dead, no click nothing, like there was no battery?
Any thoughts?

You need to check and make sure the glovebox light isn't staying on or the trunk light.

Do you have a digital multi meter that reads AMPS?
