Blown Engine
 

While driving today I busted a radiator and starting hearing a knocking sound. Temp light did not show hot and car finally stalled. Would not start, busted radiator. Had towed to garage and now mechanic say car will not start and fears the engine is blown.......Dealer wants 6000.00 - 7000.00 for refirb. Car is 1995 960 with about 108000 miles on her. Solid car and ran well......anyone have any ideas??????

Junk yard engine or buy a wrecked car with a good engine.
These aluminum engines don't like to be overheated till they die.
I have seen this happen before and they tried to rebuild it and it just lead to more problems.
