Passenger seat is dead

All,
Have a super reliable old 960 and I am finally getting around to fixing the small details. One of the last issues is that the front passenger seat controls are dead. Every one of them. The driver's side controls work just fine. I have searched through the archives here on the forum and found some leads but I still have a couple of questions:
- Where is the resettable circuit breaker for the power seats? Is there a separate breaker for each front seat?
- What would prevent all of the controls / motors to stop working? Is there one power point to the seat that could be damaged?
- Anything else I should look at?
Thanks.

How old? Different years have different fuse arrangements.
The circuit breaker covers both seats on all yearsand is designed to cut the power in the event of a problem but will reset itself when the circuits cool - usually about 20 seconds.
There is another fuse in the circuit but if that goes other things would be affected eg on the '94 you would lose the ECC, cigarette lighter and ambient temp sensor.
There is one main power lead from the fuse box which splits to serve both seats so it is possible that there is a problem to the passenger seat only. Again using the '94 as an example, this lead is coloured red/black.

On the 1997 the circuit breaker is #25 in the passenger compartment fuse box. The other fuse is #8 in the same box covering: Power seats, Power side door mirrors, Tailgate wiper/washer, Instrument lighting andAmbient temp. sensor.
Strangely enough, for Volvo, the power lead is still red/black from the circuit breaker and from#8 is orange.
Test for 12v at the red/black which should be hot at all times.
