Since having the fuel pump changed in my 95 960, I noticed that the fuel gauge reads incorrectly. It takes much longer to come to max position than before and prior to low fuel tank warning light coming on it sputters as if running out of gas.

Had this happen the other day, but it topped of at only 13 gallons. Meaning there should have been almost 7 gals. left in tank. When tank is more than half filled, she runs like a champ. Never had this issue b4 the new fuel pump. Simple fix is to keep it at or above 1/2 tank mark, but curiose as to how I can fix it the right way.

Take it back to who installed the pump and make them look at it again.
Maybe something came loose on what they did.
