Volvo 960 Pulling Code 311 (VSS)
 

I have recently been chasing a no start issue on my 95' Volvo 960 Wagon, I was able to pull the code 311 which when I looked it up found out it is the Vehicle Speed Sensor. Is this something that would keep the car from starting if that sensor was bad?

It surprises me there is no input on this! All well, I'm just going to replace it and post back here with a result..
