ignition wire repair
Good morning, does anyone have any advise as to repairing/replacing the spark plug coil wires?..mine are quite frayed and extremely brittle...frankly i dont see how they even function by the look of them...allot of exposed and frayed wire near plug. I have been to "bills" page and saw his 150.00 solution...currently unavailable. Although 150.00 seems reasonable comparatively speaking as appose to 5000.00 from Volvo(i read this somewhere...dont know if its true)
Is there any DIY advice.....can I cut off the wires near the connector where the yare really frayed and brittle...re rap the wires and re insert non frayed wires into connectors?...I did find :confused:a euro website where i can buy new connectors for a couple of dollars each...
