What is this single pole connector in the middle for on the back of the B6304F(from a Volvo 960 3.0 91-93):

Each of these concepts is really cool. I was panicking because I had nothing prepared when my players asked me to give them a one-shot this Saturday, but the one about the masks has given me a lot of ideas.

Its tied into the number one signal wire. I'm only guessing here, but i'm pretty sure its probably for Volvo techs to hook up to to verify timing. But... you can do that w/ the crank marks. They're pretty reliable. I just did my head gasket last weekend. Tape it off if anything. Or go drink a coke.
