Learned the hard way that age is just as important as mileage when it comes to TB replacement. I have the engine up and running, not to bad on the back, but a little strain on the check book. However, the brain is being taxed beyond what I can find on this site.
The CEL is lite. No codes come up and I can’t clear it.
Rad fan stays running along with the ECU fan until battery is drained.
It is highly possible that something (hose/harness) has not been reconnected properly. Does anyone have any ideas or has anyone experienced this before that can help.

Maybe the coolant temps sensor is bad. It will cause the fan to run all the time.

 

It's a thought I'll look into. Read somewhere, can't remember where, what the voltage readings are suppose to be with a good sensor, at the sensor. Do you know where that somewhere would be. Also would about the CEL, about getting the lite to go out. No codes that I can read and I've tried clearing what is not there to get the lite to go out???

 

You have to use the jumper to read the different points, after all codes are displayed you hold the button down about 10 seconds to get it to clear.

 

Not sure why, but the fans are working properly now. Car runs great. I need to do more research on the CEL thou.
