1994 850 turbo no fire

Hello everyone i'm new here so bear with me, when i tell you this car has gremlins. I pulled it in the garage to replace the radiator. I removed the radiator and fans without unhooking any wires. Reinstalled everything and added cooolant. I am not getting any fire to the distributor, none coming out of coil. The red hot wire is showing full voltage. Did i bump a wire loose? I can't find any loose wires in the imediate area. Would a bad TPS cause a no start? Thanks for any info ASAP!! Don't won't those gremlins to get in my garage. LOL:confused:

You sure you didn't unplug (or just disturb) the main fuel system relay on top driver's side of the engine fan shroud? If it's plugged in, tap on it a few times with end of a screwdriver, or the like.

Losing that relay will cut pwr to the fuel injectors and whole bunch of other stuff, but not sure if it would affect spark (haven't tried it).

Let us know what you find.

BTW: you much be a contortionist to do that job w/o pulling the fan shroud assembly! It comes out in 5 minutes and gives you lots more room.

You sound just like me. I did that, and it was the "main relay" mounted on top of the radiator (4 wires in a square plug). The plug was rotten internally, and it unplugged without me seeing it.

This was the problem that caused no spark for me, and the diagnostic OBD-1 thing wouldn't work when you connected the diagnostic plug to A2. The LED glowed about half intensity in my case, but it wouldn't flash.

Checking for fuel injector voltage would definitely be the way to diagnose it.

Thanks guys, that's what it was. It got disturbed, plus the plug terminals was coroded. I think AMF made those plugs. LOL:rolleyes: You guys have a nice day!
