1995 Volvo 850 will not turn over!

first off... this car is cursed

i have been trying to get it running for over 2 years now. no luck

first a cylinder wasnt working, fixed that but the car started smoking too much, there was oil in the exhaust ,long (1 year) story short i fixed that too, then the turbo started smoking, changed that, then i changed the TPS, changed spark plugs ,caps ,rotors, wires,..ect ect the engine is practically new...well after i changed the turbo it worked fine for about 5 hours then i turned the car off and came back in the morning and started the engine...30 min later i turned the car off ,, and it will not turn over until it cools down (15-25 min), all it does is keeps cranking and cranking not no spark to kick off the engine.

the car runs and drives really smooth when its turned on, the problem is it will not start up when its warmed up. if i cool it for 15-20 min it started up quick like nothing ever happened

i have checked the spark plugs and there is no spark comming to the plugs, so theres no spark when the car is still warm

i have a feeling it might be the computer because i took it out to replace the turbo? but i hit the computer, gently, while trying to start it up... nothing

this car is giving me a huge headach i have been a mechanic for 35 long years and have never seen anything like this. If anyone out there knows what could be causing this i would be much grateful as this is the last and final straw with this car.

the car itself is a 1995 volvo 850 w/ turbo 5cyl Engine with only 95K original miles

No spark, I would check the coil or the cam sensor. Also, have heard of problems with the positive battery lead.

I dont see anything about a changed coil in your post, could be the coil is overheating?
Cool it down with a wet rag, see how it goes?.

You might want to try and lay your hands on a used coil/ign module. I've had cars where the ignition control would shut down when it warmed up and would stay dead until it cooled. If you can pick up a used one you could try it in an attempt to at least eliminate them. Same with the coil. If you can't get the assembly you could get a coil and attach it to the leads of that control module and see if you had spark. Whatever gets it fixed or at least rules out another component.
