Hey guys,
I have a 1997 volvo 850 GLE. I recently turned the main **** on my MCC (picture below) and it was sticky, but when I turned it something broke and now I can't get the air to blow on anything other then the windshield!
Question- can I use a MCC from another year? They look different then the one I have- will it still work?

Also, anyone have one for sale???

You can likely use a MCC from another year, however, that will probably NOT fix your problem. Also, if they look different, they are probably ECC units.

The MCC system is mechanical so you likely have a broken piece behind the dash which will need to be replaced.

 

 

The **** itself broke- you think I've broken something behind the dash as well? How do I figure that out? Will I likely be able to see the broken piece once the unit is removed?
