Dash Squeaks 3M 9343 Conformable Sound Management Tape

I'm getting prepared to remove the dash in my '96 850 Turbo, and was searching for some felt tape, or some squeak reduction tape to apply where possible on re-assembly. I came across this 3M 9343 conformable sound management tape which is meant specifically for auto interiors.

Unfortunately, it's a bit pricey. And....it seems it's only available in cases of 72 rolls. $500+ is a bit much. Has anyone seen/used this before? Any suppliers that are willing to break packages? Or...is there enough interest for a group buy at around $40-50 per roll?
Lastly, I'm planning on the follow repairs, but please feel free to throw anything else out there. I'd hate to miss something.
- AC evap
- heater core
- all dash lights
- dash mounting tab reinforcement
- cabin filter
- lube blower motor

You should try calling an "automotive body supply" shop in your area.
It is some pretty special stuff, have you considered or looked at the adhesive backed generic weatherstripping most parts stores carry ??

The link is Autozone but most parts stores carry pretty much the same thing 10to40 bucks per roll and yes you can get just one !! :D

Search: weather strip | Weatherstrip | AutoZone.com

The picture is just one example.

For what this is worth, I removed my dash, rebuilt the mounts, tightened up everything I could possibly tighten up and found that it made much less difference than I had hoped. Then I took this bit of advice:

Huge difference. If I had it to do over again, I'd start with the above. Then, if it didn't really work, I'd move on to yanking the dash.

If I didn't need to do a whole bunch of other repairs, the quick fix would be the way to go. Unfortunately, I would like a working air conditioner this summer, so the evap needs to get done sooner or later...

Sorry — I was so focused on my own happiness with this dashboard fix that I failed to register all the other stuff you intend to do. Good luck.
