3rd brake light problem
 

Please help. My third brake light is out, and the indicator comes on everytime I touch the pedal (annoying). I have changed out the bulb and all the connections on the back dash are connected. Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas?

Do you know if the regular brake lights are coming on? Are you getting any power to the third brake light?

The indicator covers all the bulbs I believe, are you sure its not another bulb?

I was sure that it was the 3rd light, as I could take it our of the housing a see it. i also had my wife assist in the diagnosis. What do you know, it started working tonight! Maybe the car hadn't seen freezing temps in 10 months and needed some cold to remind her of the mother country where she came from. Who knows, but its working now.

The assembly comes off. Under the assembly there is 2 pins for the connection. Usually the drivers side looses some contact and burns the tab. I usually pull them and clean them good and bend them some to make them touch better when you install it.
That is assuming it is a sedan and not a wagon.
