850 clutch adjustment
Good day everyone. I've ran into a little problem. My clutch pedal is really far off the floor, which causes rough shifts. The clutch is hydraulic and the shop i took my car to says that hydraulic clutches arent adjustable and the only way is to change the slave cylinder. But the thing is i've heard of people adjusting these things, but on different cars. Can anyone help me with any advice. This thing is really pissing me off.

RE: 850 clutch adjustment
The shop is right; hydro clutches are generally not adjustable and should not tempered to adjust. Mechanical cable types are adjustable.
I would try bleeding thesystem for possible trapped air. JPN |

+1 They are not adjustable as far as I am aware

I basically had the same problem. My clutch (pedal) was very soft and found that the slave cylider was leaking. I took it to the shop and got it replaced but it is still having the same problem. It seems like the clutch is only engaging when I press the pedal all the way to the metal. If the mechanic told me he already bled the system, what else cold explain the problem?
