850 non turbo starts then dies

Hi I’m new on here and I’m hoping someone can help be get to the bottom of a problem I’ve got!
i have an 850 non turbo was fine, went into a shop came out and now all it does is starts then dies...
the injectors pulse once then nothing!
ive checked the fuel pump relay and pressure at the rail which both seem fine
tried a cam sensor I managed to borrow also an ecu
injectors have 12v both sides
i can’t see any obvious wiring faults
it has spark
im running out of ideas of what this could be can anyone help it would be greatly appreciated!
could it be an immobiliser fault or would it not turn over then?

I'm stumped. I have never had one do that. If it fires at all, then you would think the cam and crank sensors are okay. I wonder if it could be an air measurement problem. air flow would maybe not be required for the first pulse.

I know I’m really not sure where to go next I did wonder about the idle control valve but not sure if it would cause my problem it is getting a feed and you can hear it click, I’ve disconnected the air flow that makes no difference, do you know if the immobiliser would cause this or would it just not turn over?

only thing I've seen do this is fuel pressure. If you have an air leak you should be able to rev the engine immediately on start up to take the idle valve out of play. Sounds like you may have a fuel pump or fuel line issue. you can jumper the relay to take it out of play then use a fuel pressure gauge to see if the pressure drops right before stalling. Another thing to check is the fuel injector relay which is up front under the fan shroud...

Sorted now thanks for the suggestions! It ended up being a key fault, I got the spare key from them and I started straight up after all that! Cheers
